MUNDUK MODING PLANTATION offers rides on the horses from its stables. There is a wide variety of possible trips, ranging from half an hour around like Tamblingan to a full day trekking the rainforest – picnic lunch included.
Our two horses are “Bali ponies”, the local Indonesian horse which despite its name is a horse not a pony. Our two horses are called Mega – white with brown spots – and Gendis – dark brown. The stallions are seven eight years old, respectively, and well used to riding with children and adults alike.
While some horseriding experience is desirable for longer trips, a short tour of the rainforest and the lake shore around lake Tamblingan is possible for novice riders and highly recommended for children. You will be accompanied by guides from MMP and helmets are provided.
