MUNDUK MODING PLANTATION offers rides on the horses from its stables. There is a wide variety of possible trips, ranging from MMP, through a morning trip to Lake Tamblingan to a full day trekking the rainforest – picnic lunch included.
Our two horses are “Bali Ponies”, the local Indonesian horse which despite its name is a horse not a pony. Our two horses are called Mega – white with brown spots – and Gendis – dark brown. The stallions are nine and ten years old, respectively, and well used to riding with children and adults alike.
While some horse riding experience is desirable for longer trips, a shorter tours of the rainforest around MMP and the take shore around lake Tamblingan is are possible well within reach of for novice riders and highly recommended for children. You will be accompanied by guides from MMP and helmets are provided
